Using the Chronic Disease Model in Treating Addiction

Sometimes events happen that require a new way of thinking. This year, I have experienced losses, like those that propel me to move to the addiction arena: clients dying after a year of sobriety despite having completed treatment.

My newest book coming soon. The Multi-Family Group for Substance Use Treatment is workbook for a two-day intensive or a 16-week group curriculum for the patient, spouses, parents, siblings, and partners. The two-day intensive program is the preferred delivery method.
